The store is located on the same property as the mill, so it is easy to find. You can find just about all your hardware needs here. If we don't have it, most likely we can get it. We stock a wide variety of items including the following:
Ace Paint, Cabot and Olympic exterior stains, Ace and Minwax interior stains, Dewalt and Makita power tools, Vermont American accessories, GE and Square D breakers, a wide variety of electrical and plumbing supplies.
We also stock (as well as special order) doors (Thermatru,& Paramont), windows (Pella, Weathershield, Anderson, Waterville, DF, and Silverline), paneling, metal roofing, IKO shingles, vinyl siding (check out the installation guide for a siding how to), insulation, and sheetrock. We also can order fiberglass tub and shower units from Lasco Bathware (browse their online brochure).
We retail many of the things our mill wholesales. Rough Spruce & Fir, Hemlock, Oak, Maple, Ash, Beech, Poplar, Birch, and Pine. (note: many of the hardwoods for retail may not be on stock, but we can have them sawed within a few weeks ask for Louise for a quote) We also have kiln dried dimensional lumber and finished lumber, as well as many types of plywood, and Pressure treated lumber.
We have samples and can order Congoleum vinyl flooring (sheet goods and tiles), Uniclic Quick Step laminate flooring, Witex laminate flooring, as well as Bruce Hardwood flooring, and Bruce Laminate flooring.
We now offer computer designed kitchens, just bring us the wall sizes and were windows & doors are located, and we can go to work designing a kitchen for you. Kitchens from Just Cabinets, Merillat, and Yorktowne.
Kitchen design software used is 20-20 . Just bring us the wall size of your kitchen and the basics of what you want (type of cabinets & company) and we will design your kitchen on the computer so you can see what it would look like
Some of our services include: Glass, plexiglass, and screen cutting, blade sharpening service (drop off location for independent sharpener), key cutting and we are also a UPS shipper.
We rent the following: Carpet cleaner, insulation blower, textured ceiling sprayer, wallpaper steamer, vinyl and ceramic tile cutters, lock installation kit. Plus many more items in our new ACE Rental Place
We offer a 10% cash and carry discount for cash and checks (license required), and a 5% bank card discount. Discounts do not apply to deliveries, sale items or everyday low priced (net) items.
Deliveries go out daily Monday thru Friday throughout the state. We service part of the State government contract. Our delivery vehicles include two Dodge one tons, a Mid-liner, and a boom truck (which is also available by the hour upon request).
